This feedback was recently received by a support worker, which is a good example of how support workers can work alongside children under NDIS to learn and perform domestic duties, such as cooking and cleaning, supported under NDIS. My teen daughter had her first official day with a support worker today. When I got home I was so blown away. They had cleaned her room, done washing together, she showed her how to use the dryer and they'd folded her clothes and put them away together. My daughter said mum I had so much fun today. She's such a lovely caring lady, I just wanted to share. My daughter refuses to do a anything for me. Its was so lovely to see such a caring support worker. |
